All 255 new year 7 students were invited to attend a 3 day or a 5 day Summer School during the last week of August. Students enjoyed a variety of activities, including a design workshop run by Big Foot Arts, a session with author Adam Bushnell, Karate, Cooking, Woodwork, computer programming, flying drones as well as plenty of time to get to know their new school, teachers and make some new friends. The feedback was fantastic with the new Year 7 students feeling excited and confident to start St Bede's.
This Summer School was possible due to the Government Summer School programme and funding which amounted to £45,905.
