Dear Parent/Carer,
As it is GCSE results day tomorrow (24th August 2023), I wanted to get in touch to provide further information about enrolment into St Bede’s Sixth Form College.
Once students have received their results, they can make their way straight to the large ‘Study Room’ where they can complete their enrolment form. Assuming students have met both general and subject entry requirements, they can leave as soon as the form has been submitted and we will confirm their place in Sixth Form later that day.
However, if a student has not met subject entry requirements and they/you wish to discuss their options, please see a member of the Sixth Form team. We can meet with you in person straight away or if it is more convenient, contact you later in the day/Friday to discuss your child’s application further.
Where a student has not met our general entry requirements or would like further advice/guidance about their next steps, Mrs Jukes and Durham Works will be available to support.
Where a student is not able to enrol for Sixth Form in person, an online enrolment form (Microsoft form) will be available via the school website/Facebook page and this will also be emailed to parents.
The Sixth Form team will also be in College on Friday (25th) and Tuesday (29th) for further enrolment opportunities/discussion about options and next steps.
We wish all our Year 11 students ‘Good Luck’ for results day, and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
