Pupil Premium, (funding in addition to main school funding) is designed to address the current underlying inequalities between children eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) and their peers. The funding helps to tackle those inequalities of the pupils who need it most. The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011 and is allocated to St Bede’s to work with pupils who have either been registered for free school meals at any point within the last six years, children who have been on Local Authority looked after children register (and have been registered continuously for more than six months), and children of service personnel. In 2018-19, St Bede’s received £213,180 in Pupil Premium funds. Please refer to the Premium Policy and Pan 2018-29 for more information. Please note 2019-20 will be published on validation of the 2018-19 examination results.
