On Saturday 10th February 2023, four of our Year 8 girls (Ellana, Evie, Isla and Maisie) attended the North East regional final of the Cyber First Girls Competition at Northumbria University. The competition is a national competition run by the National Cyber Security Centre a part of GCHQ.
The day consisted of two sessions, (morning and afternoon) solving online and physical Cyber challenges and problems.
They were a credit to the school and had an excellent day, finishing fifth out of the top ten schools in the North East.
