Dear Parent/Carer,
As you are already aware, we take safeguarding very seriously at St. Bede's and employ a wealth of strategies to support the safety and wellbeing of both staff and students. Recently, we have further enhanced our safeguarding measures by investing in fences to secure the school site.
For the last few weeks we have been trialling locking the gates at the back of the school site which has gone very smoothly. As always, students have responded very well and have embraced the slight change to some of our normal routines. We now feel ready to trial our next phase which involves locking the gates at the front of the school.
