I am delighted that you are considering studying at St. Bede’s Sixth Form College.  Our aim is to provide for the educational needs of all our students in a Catholic environment; we are committed to a community based on mutual respect where we recognise our responsibilities to ourselves and others; we pride ourselves that each individual student is valued and encouraged to achieve his or her potential.

At St. Bede’s we want our students to complete their courses successfully whilst at the same time developing into intelligent, independent and confident young people with wide-ranging interests and high aspirations.  Our excellent teaching enables students to achieve academic success, and the individual pastoral support and guidance we provide, encourages them to develop personally, socially and spiritually.

St. Bede’s College provides first rate facilities for the exclusive use of our post 16 students, including a recently extended Sixth Form block which incorporates a modern and spacious common room/café and a well-equipped study centre.

Deciding where to go and what to study, post-16, is an important decision. We want to help students make the right choices.

We welcome applications from students currently studying in Year 11 as well as those from other schools; we hold individual interviews with students as part of the application process to help determine the most suitable combination of courses.  Application forms are available on request.
